Pallyy's repeat posts schedule the same post over and over automatically, on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly interval, for up to 50 occurrences. Set it up once and your recurring content, weekly promos, monthly reminders, yearly anniversaries, takes care of itself.

## How to set up a repeat post

Pallyy's repeat option is set when you create a post in the [post composer](/help/post-composer):

1. Build your post as usual and pick a date and time. Repeat posts need a future date.
2. Turn on **Repeat** and choose an interval: **Day**, **Week**, **Month**, or **Year**.
3. Choose how many times it should run, anywhere from 2 to 50 occurrences.

Schedule it and every occurrence lands on your [calendar](/help/calendar), ready to review.

## Edit or delete a repeating post

Pallyy asks how far your change should reach whenever you edit or delete a post that belongs to a repeat series. You'll pick one of three scopes:

- **This post only**: change just this occurrence.
- **This and following**: change this occurrence and every one after it.
- **All**: change the entire series.

The scope prompt appears on deletes too, so read it before confirming. Choosing **All** removes every occurrence in the series, not just the one you clicked.
::

## Publish a repeat post right now

Pallyy disables **Publish now** on posts that belong to a repeat series, because immediate publishing doesn't fit a schedule of future occurrences. If you want one occurrence out immediately, you've got two options: schedule it for a minute from now, or [clone the post](/help/clone-posts), turn **Repeat** off on the clone, and publish that.

Seeing Publish now greyed out? Check whether the post is part of a repeat series. That's the most common reason it's disabled.

## Frequently asked questions

### How many times can a post repeat?

A Pallyy repeat post runs between 2 and 50 occurrences, on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly interval. Once the last occurrence publishes, the series is done.

### Can I change just one post in a repeat series?

Yes. When you edit a post in a Pallyy repeat series, choose **This post only** at the scope prompt and the rest of the series stays untouched.

### Why can't I use Publish now on my post?

Publish now is disabled on Pallyy posts that belong to a repeat series. Schedule the post instead, or clone it, turn Repeat off on the clone, and publish the clone immediately.
