A social set is the group of social accounts for one person, brand, or business: one Instagram, one Facebook Page, one TikTok, and so on, all managed together. Everything in Pallyy revolves around sets, from scheduling to billing, so two minutes here saves confusion later.

Your first set is created automatically when you sign up. It's unnamed to begin with, so it displays as the handle of your first connected account, or as "Untitled Social Set" until you connect one.

## How to rename your social set

You rename a social set from its settings page, and it takes four clicks.

1. Go to **[Settings > Social Sets](https://app.pallyy.com/settings/socials)**.
2. Open the set.
3. Click **Edit**.
4. Type a new name in the **Name** field and save.

There's no logo upload for sets: the thumbnail comes from the first account you connect, which is usually exactly the face you'd want anyway.

## Add accounts to your existing set, don't create a new one

Adding another account type to a set you already have means opening that set and connecting there, not clicking **Create new set**. This is the single most common billing mix-up we see, so it gets its own heading.

Adding an account to your existing set is free within your plan, while extra sets beyond your plan's allowance are a paid add-on behind an explicit upgrade step. Pallyy never charges you for a set silently, but clicking **Create new set** when you meant to add an account sends you to an upgrade prompt you don't need. To add your Facebook Page next to your Instagram, open the set you already have in **[Settings > Social Sets](https://app.pallyy.com/settings/socials)** and connect it there. The plan articles like [Pallyy Pro](/help/pallyy-pro) cover extra set pricing.

When do you actually want a second set? When you manage a second brand or client. Each set holds one account per type, so a second Instagram account genuinely needs a set of its own. Creating one only asks for a name, and you add the accounts afterwards:

## Switch between social sets

You switch sets from the set selector at the top left of the dashboard. Everything you see, the calendar, posts, media, and analytics, belongs to the set you've selected, so if things look unfamiliar, check which set you're in first.

## Set a timezone and default post time per set

Each social set gets its own timezone and default post time, and they live in the [calendar's](/help/calendar) settings rather than the set itself. Open the three-dots menu on the calendar, choose **Settings**, and set both per set. New posts start at the default time.

## Delete a set you created by accident

Deleting a social set happens from the same place you edit it: **[Settings > Social Sets](https://app.pallyy.com/settings/socials)**, open the set, then **Delete**. If you're paying for a set add-on you no longer need, delete the set and check [manage your billing](/help/manage-your-billing) to confirm the add-on is removed.

## Share a set with clients or teammates

Social sets are also the unit of sharing in Pallyy, in two directions. You can [invite clients to connect](/help/invite-clients-to-connect) their own accounts into your set without password sharing, and you can share whole sets with colleagues through [teams](/help/teams).

## Frequently asked questions

### How many accounts fit in one social set?

Each social set holds one account per type: one Instagram, one Facebook Page, one TikTok, and so on. How many types you can connect depends on your plan, so a second account of the same type always needs a second set.

### Do extra social sets cost money?

Yes. Every social set beyond your plan's included sets is a paid add-on, billed per set. The plan articles like [Pallyy Pro](/help/pallyy-pro) and [Pallyy Agency](/help/pallyy-agency) list what each plan includes, and [manage your billing](/help/manage-your-billing) shows your active add-ons.

### Can I upload a logo for my social set?

No. A set's thumbnail comes from the first social account you connect to it, and there's no separate logo upload. Renaming the set is the way to make it recognizable in the set selector.

### Why does my dashboard look empty after switching sets?

Everything in the dashboard belongs to the currently selected set, so a freshly created or newly shared set starts empty. Use the set selector at the top left to switch back, and if you're on a team, see [joining a team](/help/joining-a-team) for finding shared sets.
