Marley's Menu began in 2020 as a passion project and creative outlet. Furloughed from her job, Marley Goldin wanted a place to share her recipe creations, so she started an Instagram account. She quickly fell in love with recipe development, photography, and connecting with other creators in the food space.

Six years later, Marley's Menu is a full-blown business, with a popular recipe site and multiple thriving social channels across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and TikTok. At its core, it remains what it has always been: in Marley's words, "a love letter to my passion for sharing food and culture."

Before Pallyy: five channels, every morning

Before Pallyy, Marley posted to each social media app individually, every day, with little to no planning.

Every morning meant stressing about what to post, writing the caption, researching hashtags, finding trending audio, and publishing, on five different channels. The routine consumed a huge block of precious, limited working time, and a lot of mental space with it.

When passion starts to feel like a chore

As the audience and recipe library grew, social media started feeling less like a passion and more like a chore. Wearing so many hats as the owner and operator of Marley's Menu, Marley felt stretched too thin.

Social media is a powerful tool for the business, yet it had become an afterthought. Reach started dropping as she pulled away, and it was clear she needed a system to stay organized, stay consistent, and bring her presence and clear voice back to her channels.

Ticking all the right boxes

Finding that system took plenty of research and comparing tools.

“After much research, Pallyy ticked all the right boxes. It has fair pricing, is user-friendly (foolproof, really), includes every feature I was looking for, and offers amazing customer support.”

Seeing months of content at once

Pallyy's social media calendar and scheduling quickly became the heart of the new workflow.

“The visual planner and social scheduling have genuinely improved my mental health. I not only schedule out a couple of months ahead, which takes the stress out of the day-to-day, but I can also see everything all at once, in sequential order. I've never felt so organized when it comes to my content.”

Seeing everything in one place helps Marley stay on top of trends, post seasonally appropriate content, make sure she isn't repeating herself, and keep her channels running during busier times at home, and even vacations. It has also allowed her to increase the volume and consistency of her posts, improving overall reach over time.

One feature stands out for pure time savings: clone. Marley uses it constantly to eliminate the work involved in uploading videos and writing captions for each channel. Using it, she says, "literally halves my workload for a post."

Working in focused blocks

Pallyy has also changed the shape of the working week. Instead of a daily scramble, Marley blocks off a few hours at a time to schedule posts in one sitting.

Once she gets into a flow of scheduling, she can achieve a lot in that one block of time, then shift gears and walk away knowing the task won't need revisiting for a while.

Six years of recipes, put back to work

After six years of recipe development, Marley's Menu has a deep library of content that remains relevant, and that Marley is still proud of. It's a lot of content. In her words: "A LOT."

Staying organized with Pallyy means all of it can be repurposed and shared regularly in an intentional way, whether that's a seasonal recipe, one that fits a current trend, or one that deserves a little traffic boost on the site. Work smarter, not harder.

From three posts a week to six a day

The clearest result of the new workflow has come on Facebook. A streamlined content workflow has allowed Marley to go from posting three times per week to six times per day on the channel.

That consistency has translated directly into traffic. Since the shift, she says, Facebook "has been my second highest steady traffic driver after Google."
