How SOCKSSS Uses Pallyy to Bring Structure to a One-Person Brand

Having a small, or one-person team doesn't mean you can't have a clear, consistent content plan, managed weeks in advance.

The story of

SOCKSSS, Brand

Founded on the philosophy of "Master one thing, perfect it," SOCKSSS founder Oscar has spent years refining a single product. Every sock is the result of countless iterations, close relationships with specialist mills, and an unwavering focus on quality, craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

That approach has earned the brand a loyal following around the world. Along the way, SOCKSSS has collaborated with brands including OpéraSPORT, while its products are stocked by some of the world's leading retailers, including END Clothing, SSENSE, Nordstrom, La Samaritaine and Goodhood. Just to name a few.

But behind the scenes, running a growing global brand means wearing every hat—from product development and operations to marketing and social media.

We caught up with the founder to learn how Pallyy helps bring structure and consistency to that process.

Before Pallyy: "Messy is a good word."

Like many small businesses, social media wasn't the priority—it was squeezed in whenever there was time.

In the early days, there was not yet a streamlined workflow. Content was loaded onto a phone and posted "when I remembered, basically." Without a clear system, it became difficult to stay organised.

“The biggest challenge was to organize everything and keep track of what to actually post and when. Messy is a good word.”
Oscar, Founder of SOCKSSS

As new colours, collections and collaborations were released, keeping track of content became increasingly difficult.

A platform built around simplicity

As a one-person business, efficiency isn't just helpful—it's essential.

The goal wasn't to find the most feature-packed platform, but one that would simplify the process and clarify the thinking behind it. As Oscar puts it, running a "one man brand" makes it essential to structure and streamline every process.

That's ultimately what drew SOCKSSS to Pallyy.

“I chose Pallyy because of its simplicity and easy to use functions. Easy to understand and easy to use but as powerful as other platforms.”

Planning ahead instead of posting on the fly

Scheduling quickly became much more than a publishing tool. It now doubles as an internal planning tool, one that Oscar relies on to understand the brand's own content cycle and monthly build.

Rather than thinking about social media one post at a time, Pallyy's social media calendar gives SOCKSSS a clearer view of upcoming content and helps build a consistent publishing rhythm around new product launches and campaigns.

Saving time by working in bulk

As the only person managing the brand, every hour matters.

Instead of stopping throughout the week to publish content manually, everything can be planned ahead.

“Since I'm handling everything myself it's important that I can handle tasks in bulk, so planning my content schedule one-two-three weeks ahead is a god send.”
Oscar, Founder of SOCKSSS

Having the flexibility to schedule weeks in advance means less time spent managing social media—and more time focused on growing the business.

The biggest win? Consistency.

For SOCKSSS, the biggest impact hasn't been a specific feature or workflow. It's simply being able to show up more consistently.

By replacing a reactive approach with a structured content plan, social media has become another reliable part of the business instead of another task competing for attention.

Advice for other brands

When asked what they'd say to another brand considering Pallyy, the answer was simple.

“I've suggested Pallyy to several of other brands I help; consistency is key and this will 100% help.”
Oscar, Founder of SOCKSSS

For a brand built on patience, craftsmanship and perfecting the details, having a social media workflow that's just as considered has made all the difference.
