Twitter Poll

A Twitter poll (now X poll) is a post containing a multiple-choice question that followers can vote on for a limited time.

Polls run from five minutes to seven days, support up to four options, and show results only after voting, which nudges people to participate.

Polls are cheap engagement: voting is the lowest-effort interaction on the platform, and a good question can pull in far more participants than a regular post earns replies. They double as lightweight audience research.
