Connect Claude

Pallyy is listed in Claude's connector directory, so Claude on the web and in the desktop app connects to the MCP server in one click and signs in with your Pallyy account. Claude Code adds the same server from the terminal with one command. Once connected, Claude can list your social sets and posts, create and edit posts for every connected network, import media from a URL, and manage calendar notes, within the permissions you approve. The connector is included on every Pallyy plan.

What you need

• A Pallyy account on any plan, Free included.
• Claude on the web or desktop with connectors available. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector; Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise allow more. On Team and Enterprise an owner may need to add Pallyy for the organization before members can connect it.
• Claude Code, if you want the server in the terminal too.

How to connect Claude on the web or desktop

Claude connects from its directory, so there is no URL to paste:

1. Open the Pallyy listing in Claude's connector directory, or go to Customize > Connectors in Claude and find Pallyy in the directory.
2. Click Connect. A Pallyy tab opens.
3. Sign in, review what Claude will be able to do, choose the social sets it may reach or leave the picker empty for all of them, and click Authorize. The approving a connection section explains each option.
4. Back in Claude, mention Pallyy in a conversation or enable it from the tools menu. Claude picks the right tool for each request.

If your workspace can't use the directory, choose Add custom connector under Customize > Connectors, name it Pallyy, paste https://app.pallyy.com/mcp as the server URL, and click Add. The sign-in step is the same.

How to connect Claude Code

Claude Code takes the server URL from the command line and signs in from inside a session:

1. Add the server.

claude mcp add --transport http pallyy https://app.pallyy.com/mcp

2. In a Claude Code session, run /mcp, pick Pallyy, and choose to authenticate.
3. Approve on the Pallyy page that opens in your browser. The tools are available as soon as you do.

To skip sign-in, for example on a shared machine, pass an API key as a header instead. The key's permissions and social set restriction then apply.

What Claude can do

Claude has the same 15 tools as every other client: list and get social sets, list, get, create, and update post sets, browse the media library and import files from a URL, and list, create, and update calendar notes. Every post it touches can be opened in Pallyy from the link it returns.

Claude has no way to pass a file from the conversation to Pallyy, so media comes from a public URL or from what is already in the library. Ask Claude to import the file at a link, or to use an item by name.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Pallyy connector work in the Claude desktop app?

Yes. Claude on the web and the Claude desktop app share the connector directory and your connections, so connecting once covers both. Claude Code is separate and adds the server with the command above.

Can Claude use an image from the chat in a post?

No. Claude can't hand a file from the conversation to Pallyy. Give it a public link to the image or video and it imports the file into the media library, or ask it to use something already in the library.

How do I disconnect Claude?

Open Settings > Connected Apps in Pallyy and click Disconnect next to Claude. Access ends immediately, including any tokens Claude still holds, and you can reconnect by approving it again.

Does Claude need a paid plan for the connector?

Not on Pallyy's side, where the MCP server is on every plan. Claude offers connectors on every Claude plan too, with the Free plan limited to one custom connector.
