Connect Grok

Grok connects to the Pallyy MCP server with a Pallyy API key sent as a header, either as a plugin in Grok Bot or as an MCP server in Grok Build. Once connected, Grok can list what's scheduled, create and edit posts for every connected network, import media from a URL, and manage calendar notes, on request or on a routine. The server is included on every Pallyy plan.

What you need

• A Pallyy account on any plan, Free included.
• Grok Bot, which is in beta and included with SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, and the Cursor Pro, Pro+, Ultra, and Teams plans, on macOS, iOS, Android, and the web. On Grok Business and Enterprise a team admin provisions connectors first. Or Grok Build, xAI's terminal agent.
• A Pallyy API key with the permissions Grok should have.

How to connect Grok Bot

Grok Bot takes the server URL and a header in its plugin form:

1. In Pallyy, open Settings > API keys and create a key named Grok. Grant Edit posts, add Upload media if agents should import files, and leave Publish posts off so nothing publishes unattended.
2. In Grok Bot, open Settings > Plugins and choose to add a custom MCP server.
3. Name it Pallyy, paste https://app.pallyy.com/mcp as the URL, and add a header named Authorization with the value Bearer pallyy_your_api_key.
4. Save. Pallyy appears under Plugins > Yours. In a Bot chat, type @ and pick Pallyy to attach it.

How to connect Grok Build

Grok Build adds the server in one command, with the key as a header:

Run /mcps in the session to confirm Pallyy is connected and its tools are listed.

Why Grok uses an API key

The New Connector > Custom flow on grok.com signs in with OAuth and redirects back to Grok's domain. Pallyy's authorization server only accepts redirects to claude.ai, chatgpt.com, cursor.com, or a local address, so that route fails at sign-in for now. Grok Bot's plugin form and Grok Build both take a header, which works today.

Which permissions should the Grok key have?

Edit posts for drafting and Upload media if agents import images from links. Publish posts is worth leaving off for anything that runs unattended, and a social set restriction pins the key to one client.

Can a routine draft posts every week?

Yes. Grok Bot routines run without you asking again, so an agent with Pallyy attached can draft next week's posts every Friday and message you the list. Without the Publish posts permission the drafts wait for you in Pallyy.

Which plans include Grok Bot?

How do I disconnect Grok?
