Pallyy analytics tracks how your connected accounts perform and turns the data into reports you can share. Here's which platforms are covered, what each one measures, how long your data sticks around, and how reporting works.
Which platforms analytics covers
Analytics covers three platforms, each with its own set of metrics:
| Platform | What is tracked |
|---|---|
| Follower growth, reach, impressions, engagement, Stories, audience demographics | |
| Audience growth, impressions, views, post engagement | |
| Company page views, unique visitors, demographics, post insights, follower growth |
Other platforms can be published to but don't appear in analytics. X (Twitter) analytics isn't available because of X API limits on third-party tools, and LinkedIn analytics covers company pages.
How long your data is kept
How far back your analytics go depends on your plan:
- Free and Starter: 30 days of data.
- Pro, Agency, and Scale: 5 years of data.
Longer retention matters once you start comparing month over month or year over year. If you plan to report on trends, a plan with 5-year retention keeps your full history available. Plan details are on the pricing page.
Building and sharing reports
Your analytics data feeds into reports you can export as PDFs and send to clients or teammates. Reports pull the same metrics you see in analytics, formatted for someone outside your team to read.
There are two levels of reporting:
- Standard reports, on every plan with analytics access, cover each platform's core metrics.
- Custom reports, on Agency and Scale, let you choose which metrics and sections a report includes. Handy when different clients care about different numbers.
Comparing against competitors
For Instagram, competitor tracking lets you compare other Instagram accounts against your own. The Free plan includes 1 Instagram competitor; paid plans track up to 10 per social set. Competitor data comes from public account metrics, so you can benchmark follower growth, posting activity, and engagement without access to anyone's account.
Reading the core metrics
A quick reference for the terms you'll see in Pallyy analytics:
- Reach: the number of unique accounts that saw your content.
- Impressions: the total number of times your content was displayed, including repeat views by the same account.
- Engagement: interactions on your content, such as likes, comments, saves, and shares.
- Follower growth: the net change in followers over the selected date range.
- Demographics: the age, gender, and location breakdown of your audience, where the platform provides it.
Metrics come straight from each platform's official API, so your numbers match what the platform itself reports.
