Custom reports

Build custom analytics reports in Pallyy, pick a reporting period, toggle the widgets each report includes, and export the result as a PDF for clients.

Custom reports let you build your own analytics reports in Pallyy, choose exactly which widgets they include, and share them with clients. You'll find them under Analytics > Reports in your dashboard.

Available on Agency and Scale.

How to build a custom report

Building a report takes a couple of minutes from start to PDF:

  1. Go to Analytics > Reports.
  2. Click Create New Report, give your report a name, and click Create.
  3. Click View next to the new report to open it.
  4. Open Report Period in the sidebar and pick a timeframe, such as last 30 days or a custom range.
  5. Expand each platform's section and tick the widgets you want; the report preview updates as you toggle.
  6. Click Export as PDF to download it, ready to send.

Create, rename, and delete reports

You can create as many custom reports as you need from Analytics > Reports, and rename or delete them anytime. A common setup is one report per client, each showing only the numbers that client cares about. Nothing is locked in, so rework a report whenever a client's priorities change. The agencies page shows where client reports fit in the wider workflow.

Choose a reporting period

Every custom report has its own period: last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days, last 2 years, or a custom range you pick yourself. Set it once per report and the widgets inside all follow it. For monthly client reporting, last 30 days keeps things simple; for a longer view, last 2 years or a custom range does the job.

Toggle the widgets each report includes

Custom reports are built from toggleable widgets, so a report only shows what you switch on. The widgets available depend on the platform:

  • Instagram: followers growth, gained and lost, reach, impressions, profile views, new followers, recent and top posts, post counts, likes, comments, best time to post, stories metrics, competitor followers, engagement, and posts, gender and age, website clicks and other profile actions.
  • Facebook: page follows, fans, impressions, engaged users, views, video views, post impressions, posts.
  • LinkedIn: followers, followers by country, visitors, visitors by country, posts, post impressions.

Flip off anything a client doesn't need. A short, focused report usually lands better than a long one.

Export as PDF

Every custom report exports as a PDF, ready to email to a client or drop into a monthly review. Your clients don't need a Pallyy login to read it, they just open the file.

Which platforms can custom reports cover?

Custom reports pull widgets from Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Each platform has its own widget set, from Instagram stories metrics to LinkedIn visitors by country.
