Instagram product tagging

Tag products from your Instagram shop catalog on scheduled posts in Pallyy, using the tag button on the image, so shoppable tags publish with the post.

Pallyy tags products from your Instagram shop catalog on your scheduled posts, via the tag button on the image in the composer. The product tags publish with the post, so your content is shoppable from the moment it goes live.

Tag a product on a post

Product tags are added from the image in the post composer. Use the tag button on the image, then pick the products from your Instagram shop catalog. When the post publishes, the tags are live and viewers can tap through to the product.

Product tagging needs your Instagram account connected with Login with Facebook (a business or creator profile linked to a Facebook page). If your account was added with Login with Instagram, reconnect it with Login with Facebook from Settings > Social Sets. See Instagram integration for more on connecting.

Where the products come from

The products you can tag come from your Instagram shop catalog. Pallyy doesn't manage the catalog itself: you set up your shop and products on Instagram's side, and Pallyy shows that catalog when you tag. If a product isn't appearing, check it exists in your Instagram shop first.

Product tagging is Instagram only

Product tagging through Pallyy works on Instagram posts only. Facebook and Pinterest posts can't tag products through Pallyy, so if you're cross-posting the same content, the product tags will only appear on the Instagram version.

Frequently asked questions

Do product tags publish automatically?

Yes. Product tags you add in Pallyy publish with the Instagram post, with no extra step in the Instagram app.

Can I tag products on Facebook or Pinterest posts?

No. Pallyy's product tagging is Instagram only. Facebook and Pinterest posts can't tag products through Pallyy.

Why don't I see any products to tag?

Two common reasons: your Instagram shop catalog doesn't have the product, or your account is connected with Login with Instagram. Product tagging needs a Login with Facebook connection, which you can fix from Settings > Social Sets.
