Instagram Reel audio

Pallyy lets you set your Instagram Reel's audio name right in the composer, on the Instagram card. The audio itself is your video's own sound, and the name you set controls how that sound is labeled on Instagram when the Reel goes live.

Set the audio name

Pallyy puts the audio name field on the Instagram card in the composer, alongside the rest of your Reel's settings. While you create a post with a video going out as a Reel, set the audio name there and Pallyy applies it when the Reel publishes through your Instagram integration.

If you don't set anything, the audio defaults to "Original Audio", the same generic label every unnamed Reel sound gets.

You can only rename it once

Pallyy can rename a Reel's audio exactly one time, so pick a name you're happy with before you schedule. There's no second pass later, which makes the composer the right moment to get it right: type the name, glance at it, and only then hit schedule.

A custom audio name is a small branding touch. Instead of your sound showing up as "Original Audio" like everyone else's, it can carry your name, your brand, or a label that fits the content.

What happens if I don't set an audio name?

Your Reel's audio is labeled "Original Audio" on Instagram. That's the default for every Reel where the audio hasn't been renamed in Pallyy's composer.

Can I change the audio name after renaming it?

No. The audio can only be renamed once, so choose the name carefully in the composer before your Reel is scheduled.

Does renaming the audio change the sound itself?

No. The audio is still your video's own sound. Renaming it in Pallyy only changes how that audio is labeled on Instagram, not what viewers hear.
